Blood of Ancient Kings Reviews

It was a delight to read "Blood of Ancient Kings". I retired from working in an elementary school Library 9 years ago. I did a lot of book reviews and as I read books I knew which children needed to read the book. I discovered this copy at D.I. and thought I should see about reading it and maybe it would be one to share with grandchildren and neighbors. I felt it was so wonderful to read such an uplifting story. How your story taught how to handle react to bullies and bring joy into lives of others. How to treat others as we ourselves want to be treated and so much more. Thanks for your clean uplifting adventures for our youth! I will be getting more of your books for myself and sharing with my grandchildren.

Blood of Ancient Kings by V. J. O. Gardner

When I first got this book, I thought it was just going to be a long medieval story full of drama and was not really looking forward to that. But I know you can’t judge a book by its cover, even though I always love when books have great covers. After reading the first 100 pages or so, I couldn't put it down! My friend had to drag me off my bed just so I could go and eat something! It brought me such joy and wonder that I was more than happy to receive. No adultery, no love triangles, no unjustified murders, no nothing! Only joy and glee.

I recently read a page turner that I just did not want to put down.  “Blood of Ancient Kings” by V.J.O. Gardner left me wanting more so I have already bought it’s sequel in e-format.

The series promises to be a wonderful epic and I look forward to when I can read more books from this Author.
